The Basic Loaf brings sourdough back to its essentials—a naturally leavened artisan loaf made with bread flour, water, and salt. With a crisp, rustic crust, tender open crumb, and the naturally developed flavor of a slow fermentation, it’s an uncomplicated bread made to complement just about anything. Toast it, dip it, build a sandwich, serve it alongside dinner, or simply tear off a piece and enjoy. No inclusions. No extras. Just good sourdough bread.
